ScholarshipExperts.com "Shout It Out" Scholarship
The "Shout It Out" Scholarship is open to all U.S. students who are 13 years of age or older. Students must apply online at http://www.scholarshipexperts.com/apply.htx ScholarshipExperts.com is offering five (5) $1,000 scholarships. You must be a U.S. student (13 or older) to apply, and you must answer the scholarship question online in 250 words or less: "If you could say one thing to the entire world at once, what would it be and why?". You must apply online by October 15, 2007.
Wilma and Clyde Stieb Memorial Scholarship
$500 per Academic year. May be renewed for a total of four (4) times, maximum grant of $2000. There are presently nine (90) scholarships available for qualifying WLAC students. Complete an application and submit to the Office of the Vice President of Student Services no later than 5:00 p.m., October 22, 2007.
GALAS (Gay and Lesbian Armenian Society) $1,000 Scholarship
In 2008, GALAS will celebrate its first decade of service with a year long series of activities that will highlight its 10th anniversary! GALAS will once again award a $1,000 scholarship to a student of Armenian Descent pursuing higher education. The award will be presented at the 10th annual Gala on May 17, 2008. Application will be accepted from September 2007 to Feburary 28, 2008.
Sallie Mae Fund
TheSallie Mae Fund, a charitable organization sponsored by Sallie Mae®, achieves its mission—to increase access to higher education for America's students—by supporting programs and initiatives that help open doors to higher education, prepare families for their college investment, and bridge the gap when no one else can. In addition, The Sallie Mae Fund encourages employee volunteerism and community service in the more than a dozen communities where Sallie Mae employees live and work. Check website for deadline.
